We are so excited that you are considering Holy Souls Extended Care (HSEC) for your child’s summer care needs.
Our age range includes children that will be entering Kindergarten through those entering 6th grade in the 2020-2021 school year. A copy of the birth certificate and shot records are required for all non-Holy Souls students.
Registration is available online. (CLICK HERE) When you have completed the online registration process, you will receive a confirmation email regarding your child's enrollment in the summer care program. Once all registration fees are paid in full, your child is considered enrolled for the summer program.
Costs include a $35 registration fee and a $225 activity fee per child; both fees are due when you register. The weekly tuition is $140 for Holy Souls students and $150 for non-Holy Souls students. The daily/drop-in tuition is $40 for Holy Souls students and $50 for students not attending Holy Souls School. Payments are made through the FACTS account for Holy Souls students. Payments are due Monday of each week you are attending for non-Holy Souls School students. Tuition may be paid with cash, check, or credit card. Tuition is billed for the days your child attends.
Our hours of operation are 7:30 until 5:30. There is a $1 per minute fee for late pick-ups. The first day of our program is Monday, June 1, 2020. We will be closed July 3rd, 2020 in observance of Independence Day. Our last day for summer care will be Friday, August 14, 2020. Summer care will close at 3:00 on this day.
The check-in/out desk for the summer is located in the Gym lobby of The Allen Center. This entrance is accessible from the playground parking lot. It is a licensure requirement from the Department of Human Services that children be signed in and out by a responsible party.
We provide two snacks with milk or juice daily for your child; one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
You will need to provide lunch for your child. There will be milk or juice available at no cost to you.
The summer field trips; include swimming and bowling for 1st – 6th graders, visits to the Little Rock Zoo, Fletcher Library, and Chuck E. Cheese for Kindergarten -3rd graders and Wild River Country, Dave & Buster's, and skating for 4th – 6th graders. Our field trip transportation is provided by Arrow Coach Lines. More detailed information on field trips will be available closer to summer break.
Team sports, STEM activities, arts, crafts, and other activities will fill your child’s day. Electronic games or music players are only allowed on Fridays.
